What does it do?
The ePRE Online Referral System is the place where all the members of your chapter can go to submit their referrals electronically! After deployment of the system, your members will be able to surf on over to a page in your chapter's site, log in and go. That's it! The system handles the distribution of the referrals and also the record keeping. What's not to like?
Why go electronic?
The Online Referral System alleviates some of the problems that are inherent in the tradtional "paper version" of referral submission.
- No paper! Go online, submit your referral, and everyone gets an email copy.
- No more incomplete forms. The secretary in your chapter won't have to chase anyone down to finish a slip because the system makes sure the form is complete.
- It's live 24/7! Have a referral that you need to submit right now? Well, you can! Just head on over to your chapter's site, and log in.
Who will benefit greatly from this?
The secretary in your group will absolutely love this system. Instead of having to archive hundreds upon hundreds (or hopefully thousands!) of referral slips each year, the system keeps all of the referrals in one easy to read, easy to access online location. Those month end reports that get sent to Pittsburgh are already easier!
Additionally, this system will greatly benefit the environment. If each chapter submits their referrals electronically, less and less paper forms will be needed, reducing cost and paper waste.
Requirements
To run this site, your web server needs to have PHP installed, and access to MySQL databases. If your server doesn't have these items available, no problem! Berson3 Computers can host the site for you! Call 717_340_1029 to ask about hosting pricing.
